BYD to Launch New Song LDM-i Model

TapTechNews on June 11th, it was officially announced by Lu Tian, General Manager of BYD Dynasty Network Sales Division, that BYD will launch a new Song LDM-i model, with the slogan "Great Song is Coming".

It can be seen from the official promotional poster that this car is an SUV model with through-type rear taillights. The DM-i naming indicates that this is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. TapTechNews will follow up on the subsequent listing information.

A set of camouflaged real car pictures of BYD Song LDM-i was exposed online yesterday. This car is expected to adopt BYD's fifth-generation DM hybrid technology and will belong to the Dynasty Network for sales after its future listing.

From the leaked pictures, it can be seen that the Song LDM-i inherits the design language of the Dynasty Network family. Its front face design is similar to that of the Qin LDM-i, with a large hexagonal grille and headlights connected by black trim strips, and the front bumper is decorated with silver trim strips.

The body lines are smooth with a coupe-like style, and it is equipped with a concealed door handle and rear privacy glass. The wheel rims adopt a brand-new semi-closed design. The rear part of the vehicle is similar to that of the Song L, equipped with through-type rear taillights and two-stage rear spoilers.
