MSI's MPGEZ120ARGB Fan Listed on E-commerce Platforms

TapTechNews May 17th, the MPGEZ120ARGB fan previously released by MSI has now been listed on domestic e-commerce platforms. The black and white versions of this fan have the same price. The single-pack is priced at $25 (about 169 yuan), and the three-pack is priced at $75 (about 499 yuan).

A major feature of the MPGEZ120ARGB fan is its dual magnetic building block connection design:

The frame of this fan contains embedded magnets, and there is also a pair of magnetic connection modules between every two fans. While the two modules are physically connected, they can respectively transmit ARGB synchronous signals and fan power supply and PWM control signals.

TapTechNews learned that in addition to the magnetic connection module, this fan also supports daisy-chain connection of the same type of fan, and also supports the 7-pin JAF one-line connector on the MSI motherboard.

The MPGEZ120ARGB adopts a 9-blade fan structure with nut-reinforced FDB bearings, taking into account both the use scenarios of blowing and exhausting air pressure and chassis air volume.

In terms of parameters, the fan speed range is 0 to 1900 RPM. The maximum air volume is 73.82 CFM, the maximum air pressure is 2.56 mmH2O, and the maximum noise is 28.82 dBA.

The three-pack version of this fan comes with a fan hub. This hub has 4 expansion interfaces and can simultaneously support 18 fans of this series.
