Bugatti Tourbillon HyperGT Unveiled A New Era of Supercars

This car is named after the tiny mechanical device in high-end wristwatches that maintains accuracy. It will beonly 250 units produced, with a starting price of$4,138,000 (approx. According to Bugatti CEO Mate Rimac, Tourbillon is 'art on wheels' and also 'a moving canvas'. This car adopts a1775 horsepower plug-in hybrid powertrain and is equipped with a naturally aspirated V16 engine, and the length of this powerful heart from head to toe is about 1 meter. At the same time, thanks to the extensive use of lightweight metals and composites, the total weight of the engine is only 252kg.
In terms of specific power, this engine itself can output 986 horsepower, and the two electric motors located on the front axle and one on the rear axle can provide an additional 789 horsepower. The new car is equipped with a 25kWh battery, which can bringmore than 59.5 miles (approx. 95.55 kilometers) of pure electric range, and it supports 800V high-voltage charging - the charging time from 0% to 80% only takes 12 minutes.
Mate Rimac said that Tourbillon will be faster than the Chiron. The top speed of the new car is445 kilometers per hour (approx. 276 miles), and Rimac still plans to shorten the zero to 100 km/h acceleration time to 2 seconds and the 0-200 km/h acceleration time to less than 5 seconds.
In terms of appearance and interior, the official said that every surface, ai r intake and edge of the new car have been meticulously crafted to conform to the vehicle's aerodynamics and thermodynamics. The interior is equipped with a dashboard designed and manufactured bySwiss watchmakers, which is composed of more than 600 tiny parts and uses precious materials such as titanium metal, sapphire, and ruby, with an error of no more than 50 microns. Of course, the new car is also equipped with a small touch screen that supports Apple CarPlay - usually it is hidden in the instrument panel and will only start when the driver has a need.
The overall weight of this car isonly 4398 lbs, and it adopts a fully customized carbon fiber shell. The subframe is a 3D printed part provided by the American company Czinger, which maximally enhances the stiffness while reducing the weight. In addition, the weight of the 3D printed aluminum suspension assembly is claimed to be only slightly more than half of that of the Chiron.
The hidden active rear spoiler of the new car works at all speeds and is assisted by a vented diffuser, but will not rise via hydraulic struts like in Bugatti's previous models.
