MediaTek Joins Arm Total Design Ecosystem at Computex Taipei 2024

TapTechNews on June 5, MediaTek announced on June 4 at Computex Taipei 2024 that it has joined the Arm Total Design ecosystem program.

Arm Total Design is based on the Arm Neoverse computing subsystem (CSS), which can meet the performance and efficiency requirements of AI applications in the fields of data centers and infrastructure systems, and accelerate and simplify product development.

MediaTek and Arm will work together to provide differentiated solutions through the validated Arm Neoverse CSS, accelerating the product's time to market while meeting the complex AI computing needs.

TapTechNews noted that MediaTek currently uses Arm IP in multiple product areas. The latest Dimensity 9400 flagship mobile phone processor will use the latest Armv9 Cortex-X9 25 CPU and Immortalis-G925 GPU solutions. At the same time, both sides are also cooperating in various edge device applications, including automobiles, Chromebooks, smart home, enterprise Internet of Things, and industrial Internet of Things.
