The 50-feet long brake mark is clearly visible on the asphalt road, meaning that the rear wheels locked up at the time of the incident.

What is even more disturbing is that after communicating with Tesla customer service, the owner (@bfreshwa) got the reply: After reviewing the logs, due to the road condition, the accelerator pedal may not automatically disconnect when the brake is depressed.
