Alpine showcased the Alpenglow concept car in 2022 and then evolved into the Hy4 concept car, bringing it a step closer to the production version. The Hy4 was originally planned to be unveiled at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium on May 10, but failed to start due to an electrical fault.

TapTechNews cited media reports, and he explained that this concept was initially designed in parallel with the company's Le Mans supercar racing car A424, but in the recent evolution, it has become more focused on road driving.

For example, the Hy4 abandoned the original single-seat interior and adopted a more traditional two-seat configuration. This is because the new car uses the Ligier LMP3 racing chassis instead of the concept car's custom frame.
