The automatic redemption function of GamePass will expire on August 12, 2024, and it will no longer support the automatic conversion of Rewards points to GamePass Ultimate or PC GamePass subscriptions. This notice content is not clear enough, and it may only remove the function of automatically redeeming Xbox GamePass subscriptions instead of canceling the Xbox GamePass subscription redemption option, which awaits Microsoft's subsequent clarification.

In addition, some users have reported that Microsoft has notified that the number of points required to redeem Xbox GamePass subscriptions has been increased, raising the monthly automatic redemption points to 12,000 points, the regular manual subscription points to 15,000 points, and the three-month subscription points to 44,000 points.
