Ubisoft Announces 'Ubisoft Forward' Showcase and Game Releases

Ubisoft announced today that it will hold the "Ubisoft Forward" game showcase at 3 a.m. Beijing time on June 11, and the official has launched a dedicated website, which mentions that Ubisoft will showcase works such as "Star Wars: Outlaws", "Assassin's Creed: Shadow", and "XDefiant".

TapTechNews learned that the "Star Wars: Outlaws" mentioned by Ubisoft will be released on August 30. At present, the pre-sale has been opened in the Ubisoft Mall China region. The standard version sells for 48 USD, the gold version sells for 69.6 USD, and the ultimate version sells for 85.2 USD. Players of the gold/ultimate version can experience the game in advance on August 27.

And "Assassin's Creed: Shadow" will be released on November 15. The game will land on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and the Apple platform. It has currently been listed on the Apple Mac AppStore with a price of 69.99 USD (TapTechNews note: currently about 507 RMB).

"XDefiant" has officially launched on May 21. Players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC (Ubisoft Mall) platforms can all participate in the competition. IGN gave this game a score of 7, thinking that this work continues Ubisoft's tradition of "canned games", claiming that "this is an arcade-style arena shooter that combines elements from multiple Ubisoft series, but it's difficult to really stand out".

Earlier this month, Ubisoft confirmed that it will also participate in the Cologne Game Show which will be held in Germany in August.
