Geely Automobile Alleged Strategic Partnership with Foretellix is 'Misinformation'

TapTechNews, May 11 - Geely Automobile today announced that recent reports regarding a ‘strategic partnership with Foretellix’ are false. There is no strategic partnership between Geely Automobile and Foretellix, and Geely has requested the deletion of the misinformation.

TapTechNews has noted that Foretellix, an Israeli startup specializing in automotive safety technology, issued a statement on May 7, local time, claiming to have established a strategic partnership with Geely to propel the widespread deployment of autonomous vehicles, while reducing R&D costs and enhancing development efficiency for Geely.

In its statement, Foretellix mentioned it would collaborate with Geely by integrating its Foretify platform with Geely’s development, validation, and verification process, as well as with advanced simulators.

The Foretify platform can efficiently generate synthetic data for use in AI training, scenario-based automated virtual testing, large-scale fault classification, performance, and key performance indicator assessments, as well as operational domain (ODD) coverage measurements. The platform aims to automate the analysis of driving logs from Geely test vehicles and reproduce numerous variations in virtual simulations, facilitating the true deployment of autonomous driving.

As of this writing, the official Foretellix website has not yet retracted the press release about its collaboration with Geely.
