Unigroup THP Releases New Flagship THA6412 Chip with Advanced Features

TapTechNews August 25th news, Unigroup THP in the 2024 Unigroup THP Partner Conference released the second-generation THA6 series of high-end flagship new product THA6412.

This is another flagship R52+ core automotive MCU that has passed the ASILD product certification after Unigroup THP released the THA6206 chip in July this year.

THA6412 adopts the Arm Cortex-R52+ core, with a main frequency of 400 MHz, adopts the V8 reduced instruction set, the core has a lockstep function and supports the isolation of virtualization and multitasking; it has the latest version GTM4.1 of Bosch, supports high-precision PWM, and has a built-in hardware RDC module, which can support both software decoding and hardware decoding methods for resolver decoding.

This product has obtained the ASILD level functional safety process and product certification of the ISO26262 standard, integrates the HSM module, and reaches the highest level of EVITA-Full; it is compatible with the industry's mainstream debuggers, compilers and other tool chains, and can provide customers with a complete set of solutions from the chip level to the system level.

TapTechNews learned that in addition to automotive control chips, Unigroup THP has also created products/solutions such as automotive safety chips and power devices, which have been widely used in engine & transmission, new energy main drive & BMS, wire-controlled chassis, ZCU, ADAS domain control, digital key, T-BOX, V2X, gateway and other core automotive fields.
