Rehabilitation University Unveiled in Qingdao, China

TapTechNews June 22nd news, according to Qilu Net of Shandong Radio and Television Station, the New Research University Construction Forum was held this morning in Qingdao, Shandong. The first university named after rehabilitation in our country - Rehabilitation University was officially unveiled.

Rehabilitation University is a public ordinary undergraduate university, led by the Shandong Provincial Government and under the supervision of the Shandong Provincial Department of Education, positioned as a new research university, and its location is Qingdao City. Currently, Rehabilitation University has five colleges (departments) including the College of Rehabilitation Science and Engineering, the College of Life Sciences and Health, the College of Social Development, the School of Clinical Medicine, and the Department of Public Teaching.

The first batch of enrollment majors of Rehabilitation University this year are rehabilitation physical therapy, rehabilitation occupational therapy, biomedical engineering, bioinformatics, clinical medicine.

TapTechNews found out through inquiries that among the teaching staff of this school, more than half have associate senior or above professional and technical positions, more than 90% have a doctorate, more than 80% graduated from domestic double-first-class universities and have overseas study and work experience, and more than one-fifth are academicians and high-level talents such as national outstanding youth.
