Winamp to Open Source Windows Code on September 24th

Winamp is a digital media player developed by Nullsoft in 1997. The official said that their focus will be on the new mobile player and other platforms, and a new mobile player will be released in early July. But they don't want to abandon the tens of millions of users who use the software on Windows, so they decided to open source the software.

According to a previous report by TapTechNews, the LlamaGroup (the owner of the Winamp brand) announced that it will launch a new Winamp music platform plan on July 1, 2024, with the goal of attracting 50,000 artists to join in 2024 and incorporating 1 million music creators into this 'innovative' platform within the next five years.
