According to the introduction, this commercial light truck battery system of Hive Energy builds a 100 kWh battery system standard product relying on the short-blade + laminated route, and realizes commercial-passenger sharing in product performance. Its main performances are as follows:

Packaging performance

The commercial light truck battery system of Hive Energy adopts a structure of short-blade laminated layout, the space proportion of the cell in the height direction of the system is more than 87%. This design improves the energy density of the battery system and ensures sufficient protection space and protection strength at the bottom.

Safety performance

The commercial light truck battery system of Hive Energy, in addition to the safety characteristics of the lithium iron phosphate cell itself, the design of the short-blade laminated thin cell also ensures the smooth internal exhaust and the large-area heat dissipation on the cell surface to avoid potential safety hazards caused by heat accumulation. The official said that the product also uses short-blade series cells, which are the same size as passenger car cells, realizing shared production lines, improving production efficiency and cost control.

Hive Energy released several new short-blade battery products in July this year, including 5C lithium iron phosphate short-blade cell, 6C ternary super-charging cell, 4C hybrid short-blade cell, etc.:

5C lithium iron phosphate short-blade cell: Claimed to be the industry's most leading, the charging time from 10% to 80% is shortened to 10 minutes, and the cycle life exceeds 3500 times, and it will be mass-produced in December this year.

6C ternary super-charging cell: It meets bo th ultra-high endurance and super-charging experience. After charging for 5 minutes, the cruising range can reach 500-600 kilometers. The whole package has a power of up to 100-120 kWh, and the cruising range can reach up to 1000 kilometers or more.

4C hybrid short-blade cell 800V hybrid ternary dragon scale armor battery: A product launched for the PHEV market, which will be mass-produced in July 2025. The official said that with the support of the 800V+4C fast charging technology, it has become the fastest-charging PHEV product in the industry. Its energy density is 250 Wh/kg, which can provide a power selection space of 55-70 kWh for PHEV models, and bring a maximum of 300-400 km of pure electric cruising range. In addition, its unit cost can be reduced by 5%.
