Brabus Launches Personalized Kits for Smart #1 with Aggressive Styling and Sporty Enhancements
TapTechNews July 10th news, the well-known tuning factory Brabus has been collaborating with smart to launch high-performance version models before, such as the Brabus high-performance version of smart elf #1. However, Brabus doesn't stop there. They have also launched a series of personalized modification plans for smart #1, covering aspects such as appearance, interior, and chassis.
TapTechNews noticed that the personalized kit provided by Brabus for smart #1 first includes a more aggressive aerodynamic kit made of high-grade polyurethane. The front adopts a more aggressive front spoiler combined with a new bumper air intake decoration. Brabus claims that this design can significantly reduce the front axle lift at high speeds. The rear of the car adds a larger spoiler and a diffuser with the Brabus brand logo.
The visual improvement on the side also comes from the new wheel rims. Brabus provides 19-inch Monoblock Z alloy wheel rims, the same size as the original factory. However, Brabus also offers a more visually impactful 21-inch Platinum Edition version, also with a ten-spoke design. Combined with sporty springs, the vehicle height is reduced by 35 millimeters, making the whole vehicle look more sporty.
Entering the car, Brabus has added a set of illuminated Brabus brand logo welcome pedals and aluminum sport pedals. The floor and trunk mats are made of black suede material and have red piping, echoing the other red elements in the smart #1 Brabus interior.
It is worth mentioning that this personalized kit does not involve an upgrade in the power part this time, because the original electric motor can already well match the sportiness of this exterior kit. The dual-motor system can output a strong power of 315 kilowatts and a peak torque of 543 pound-feet, and the 0-100 kilometers/hour acceleration time is only 3.9 seconds. The car is equipped with a 66 kilowatt-hour battery pack, and the WLTP range is 400 miles.
The Brabus official website has listed all the items of the personalized plan, and the specific price needs to be contacted with Brabus. Most of the parts are only applicable to the smart #1 Brabus version, but some components may also be compatible with other versions of the vehicle.
