First Hydrogen Energy Intelligent Rail Tram in Yibin, China Starts Operation
TapTechNews August 8th news, according to the information from the Transportation Bureau of Yibin City, Sichuan Province, on the morning of August 1, the first hydrogen energy intelligent rail tram in China in Yibin, which was invested and constructed by the Shudao New System Track Group, officially went into operation on Yibin Intelligent Rail T1, marking that Yibin Intelligent Rail has officially entered the hydrogen energy era.
It is introduced that this hydrogen energy intelligent rail tram is the first hydrogen energy intelligent rail tram put into operation in China, which is manufactured by Sichuan Province CRRC Tietou Rail Transit Co., Ltd., realizing the Yibin-made and Yibin-used of hydrogen energy application.
Compared with the intelligent rail trams already put into operation in the Yibin Intelligent Rail project, it has several advantages:
One is that the operation efficiency is higher, innovatively adopting the 35 MPa hydrogen storage system and high-power fuel cell system, which has the characteristics of high energy conversion efficiency and fast hydrogen refueling speed, and can greatly improve the vehicle operation efficiency.
Two is that the cruising range is longer, it can travel more than 124 miles with one hydrogen refueling, which can meet the long-distance operation needs of urban public transportation.
Three is that it is greener and more environmentally friendly. There is zero emission and no pollution during the driving process, realizing green travel.
Four is that it is safer and more comfortable. This vehicle is equipped with multiple safety protection systems, and from battery management to the overall structural design of the vehicle, it has gone through strict tests and verifications.
TapTechNews found out that this vehicle was assembled and offlined on July 1, and the hydrogen refueling station of CRRC Tietou Company was inaugurated. This hydrogen refueling station can output hydrogen with two pressures of 35 MPa and 70 MPa, which can meet the hydrogen refueling needs of domestic and overseas hydrogen energy intelligent rail trams.
