Strange Rental Listing in Texas A House with Unique History

TapTechNews June 17 - Recently, a puzzling Zillow rental listing has emerged in the Dallas suburbs in the US state of Texas. This building, priced at $2.4 million, looks like an ordinary residence on the outside, with brick walls, lovely pavement, and a small mansion-like arched porch design. It appears to be the ideal home for a typical Texas family. However, potential buyers with the dream of settling down may be disappointed as there is only one bathroom and no bedroom in this house.

Entering the house, what greets you is a white brick corridor and a glass partition reception desk. The whole space is more like a warehouse-style office. In addition, the 'CryptoCollective' brand logo on the house reveals its past identity - a bitcoin mining base.

Buyers will get all the cooling and power infrastructure inside the house, including three single-phase liquid immersion cooling tanks EngineeredFluids 'SLICTanks' (for dielectric coolant), along with water pumps and a 500-kW dry cooler. As can be seen from the photos, these cooling tanks currently hold at least 80 mining computers, but more machines can be configured as needed. There are also rows of classic server racks and a large amount of network equipment placed near the cooling device.

In the housing information, various uses available to future buyers are listed, covering 'artificial intelligence services, cloud hosting, traditional data centers, servers, and even bitcoin mining'. This 5786-square-foot (TapTechNews note: about 537.5 square meters) property also contains two independent power grids, 5 HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) units, a large amount of four-story warehouse-style storage space, a lounge/office area, and a fully paved backyard. Another piece of good news is that future corporate residents won't have to worry about pesky homeowner associations (HOA) issues and are just 20 minutes from downtown Dallas and away from the noise of two major highways.
