On June 17, TapTechNews reported that BYD Ocean Automobile launched a new charging service today, supporting three major functions of search, guide, and charge.
The contents of BYD Ocean charging service are as follows:
This function supports viewing the distance of the charging pile, idle status and other information. The built-in charging aggregate map has covered 325 cities across the country, with a coverage rate of about 96.4%.
The charging service integrates the navigation function, supporting users to navigate to the charging station with one click, and the navigation data can be synchronized to the vehicle-mounted device for use.
This function is designed to assist users in connecting to the charging pile for charging operations. Users can conduct QR code pairing operations in the path BYD Ocean App - Service - Charging Service.
After starting charging, users can view the charging progress and status in real time in the mobile phone App.
When charging is completed, the charging equipment will automatically end charging, and the vehicle-mounted device will exit the charging interface, and users can also manually click end charging in the App.
The charging order will be automatically generated in the App. Users can view it in the BYD Ocean App according to the path click Service - Charging Service - Feature Set - View Order.
TapTechNews note: Before users charge, it is necessary to ensure that there are no abnormal conditions such as shell damage, cable wear, rusty plug or foreign matters on the charging device. When the charging connection device is loosely connected, do not charge.
