Huawei Completes Issuance of 2024 Ultra-Short-Term Financing Bond

TapTechNews August 12th news, Huawei Investment & Holding Co., Ltd. has recently completed the issuance of the fourth ultra-short-term financing bond in 2024. This bond is abbreviated as 24 Huawei SCP004, with an issuance amount of 4 billion yuan, an interest rate of 1.60%, a term of 130 days, the interest start date being August 9, 2024, and the redemption date being December 17, 2024.

TapTechNews found out that an ultra-short-term financing bond refers to a short-term financing bond within 270 days issued by a non-financial enterprise with legal personality and high credit rating in the inter-bank bond market. As an enterprise's short-term direct debt financing product, the ultra-short-term financing bond belongs to the category of money market instruments, and its product nature is similar to that of foreign short-term commercial paper (CommercialPaper).

Huawei released its 2023 annual report in March this year. The data shows that the overall business operation of Huawei is in line with expectations, achieving global sales revenue of 704.2 billion yuan, an increase of 9.63% year-on-year, which is the largest annual increase since 2019; the net profit is 87 billion yuan, an increase of 144.5% year-on-year.
