JD Finance Debt-Collecting Issue A User's Experience and Questions
TapTechNews August 12th news, on August 8th, the Weibo user @Luyunxiaotongxue posted that she was being debt-collected by JD Finance although she didn't owe a cent.
According to the description of this user, the incident started when she applied for a broadband card at the end of last year, and then a few months later, she received a debt-collecting text message from JD Finance, so she initiated an appeal to JD customer service and got the feedback that it was because the former owner of the broadband card owed money.
Since early July, the woman has received debt-collecting calls again and was constantly asked about the relationship between the litigant and the debtor. The customer service sent a link for her to prove herself. However, later, employees of JD Finance came to the door to collect debts, two men, yelling and knocking on my door. The litigant said that she has already called the police and contacted the customer service, and the customer service said that it needs to be investigated before it can be resolved.
On August 9th, the litigant posted on Weibo with four questions:
Why didn't the 10 o'clock phone feedback promised by JD Finance to the police yesterday (August 8th) come?
Why did JD Finance still ask for personal information via Weibo private message when it could check the background complaint records and the feedback to the police showed no debt record?
Why did JD Finance search for private phone numbers and private addresses without permission to harass?
Why didn't JD Finance respond to relevant evidence in the Weibo private message?
