TCL Technology's 2024 Semi-Annual Report Income, Profits, and Business Updates

TapTechNews August 26th news, TCL Technology announced its semi-annual report for 2024 today. During the reporting period, TCL Technology achieved operating income of 80.224 billion yuan ($11.531 billion), a year-on-year decrease of 5.78%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 995 million yuan ($142.875 million), a year-on-year increase of 192.28%, and the net cash flow from operating activities was 12.633 billion yuan ($1.815 billion).

During the reporting period, the semiconductor display business achieved operating income of 49.877 billion yuan ($7.167 billion), a year-on-year increase of 40.39%; the net profit was 26.96 billion yuan ($3.869 billion), which improved by 6.145 billion yuan year-on-year. In the second quarter, it achieved a profit of 21.57 billion yuan ($3.105 billion), with a sequential increase of 300.19%; the operating cash flow in the first half of the year increased by 60.9% year-on-year to 13.2 billion yuan ($1.898 billion).

In the first half of the year, TCL CSOT's LTPS mobile phone panel shipments ranked second globally, and the shipments of flexible OLED mobile phone panels reached 39 million pieces, a year-on-year increase of 180%, and the market share rose to the third globally, and the foldable screen shipments ranked fourth globally.

During the reporting period, TCL Central achieved operating income of 16.213 billion yuan ($2.331 billion), a year-on-year decrease of 53.54%, and the net profit was -3.176 billion yuan ($457.075 million), and the net cash flow from operating activities was 128 million yuan ($18.4 million).
