BYD to Showcase new products at 2024 Beijing Road Transport Vehicles Exhibition

TapTechNews May 26th news, the 2024 Beijing Road Transport Vehicles Exhibition will be held at China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) from May 29th to 31st.

BYD Commercial Vehicles announced recently that it will bring the pure electric bus B10 refreshed version, the pure electric bus B87, the logistics rising star T5 series products and the RV based on the T5DM chassis to the E2 Hall A23 booth.

According to the official disclosure, BYD will release a new generation of pure electric bus platform at this exhibition, as well as stronger Blade batteries, motor and electric control systems and many other leading new technologies.

TapTechNews learns that the current on-sale BYD B10 pure electric bus measures 34.45 feet * 8.37 feet * 10.73 feet (about 10500mm * 2550mm * 3270mm), equipped with a new suspended surround instrument panel (12-inch full LCD instrument), a new ergonomic driver's seat with ventilation, heating, massage and other functions, and a new ergonomic antibacterial passenger seat.

BYD B10 is equipped with batteries with IP69 dustproof and waterproof, and is also equipped with 360° panoramic imaging, electronic rearview mirrors, etc. The whole vehicle can be equipped with a dual accelerator misstep protection system, fatigue driving monitoring system, lane departure warning system, collision mitigation system and other assisted driving systems. The maximum cruising range of this car is 220.6 miles (about 355km), and the maximum rated number of passengers is 95.
