New Xuancheng-Jixi High-Speed Railway Enters Static Acceptance Stage

TapTechNews May 23rd news, the China State Railway Group announced today that the newly-built Xuancheng-Jixi High-Speed Railway (hereinafter referred to as the Xuancheng-Jixi High-Speed Railway) has entered the static acceptance stage and is planned to be opened and operated within the year.

The official said that the Xuancheng-Jixi High-Speed Railway is an important part of the rapid railway corridor in Jiangsu, Anhui and Jiangxi, and an important part of the intercity railway network in the Yangtze River Delta. It is also a backbone line in the intercity rail transit network in the Yangtze River Delta.

TapTechNews learned from public information that the Xuancheng-Jixi High-Speed Railway starts from Xuancheng Station in Anhui, passes through Xuanzhou District, Ningguo City and Jixi County in Xuancheng City, and finally arrives at Jixi North Station. The newly-built main line is 111.6 kilometers long, with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. There are 3 stations in total, namely Xuancheng, Ningguo South and Jixi North, among which Ningguo South Station is a newly-built station.
