Dragon Age Shadowguard Set to Release on October 31st with IMDAM18 Rating

TapTechNews August 24th news, BioWare's Dragon Age: Shadowguard will be released on October 31st and has now received an IMDAM18 rating due to its high maturity, including explicit scenes, sexual innuendo, overly realistic violent scenes and vulgar language.

Dragon Age: Shadowguard is a third-person perspective game where players can explore various maps, interact with various characters, and complete tasks.

This game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC platforms. Currently, it is in pre-sale on Steam in the Chinese mainland for 298 yuan (398 yuan for the deluxe version), while the Xbox and PS versions are 549/698 Hong Kong dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 503/640 yuan).

The IMDA introduced that the game is filled with a large amount of violent content, and it is very obvious in both the gameplay and cutscenes. Characters can be beheaded, stabbed, shot with arrows or bullets, and this usually leads to blood splattering onto the environment. So players may frequently encounter bloody scenes and corpses.

In addition, this game also contains vulgar language or vulgar terms such as f**k, asshole, bastard, damn and shit. The IMDA believes that such vulgar language is intertwined with the game's dialogue, increasing the roughness and realism of the narrative.
