TapTechNews noted that this is not the first time Great Wall has disclosed this news. Gu Yukun, the executive deputy general manager of the Tank brand, had previously posted that some users hope to launch the diesel version of the Tank 300 and the gasoline version of the Tank 400 models, and the Tank brand is expected to promote this plan in the form of co-creation.

At present, the Tank 300 has gasoline version, mild hybrid version, plug-in hybrid version and other power versions on sale, and the price range is 199,800 - 330,000 yuan. The 2.4T diesel engine under Great Wall is currently mainly used in models such as the Great Wall Cannon and the Shanhaipao, and the main model is GW4D24, with a maximum power of 135 kilowatts and a peak torque of 480 Newton-meters. For reference, the body size of the gasoline version of the Tank 300 is 4760 * 1930 * 1903mm (1 foot = 0.3048 meters), the wheelbase is 2850mm, and it is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine and matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission. In the cockpit, the car is equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel, a 12.3-inch central control color LCD screen, vehicle-machine mobile phone interconnection, voice recognition system, front-row mobile phone wireless charging (maximum power 50W), etc.
