According to DuskGolem, the remakes of the two old games Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica are under development. He said he has learned this news from multiple channels and has heard about it as early as more than a year ago, and even if he doesn't disclose it, the news will leak through other channels.

For the previously reported remake of the first Resident Evil using the RE Engine, DuskGolem said that this project does not exist. As far as I know, the first remake is pure rumor and there is currently no development plan. The remake of Resident Evil 5 is also not under development.

DuskGolem also shared more details about Resident Evil 9. Previously there were rumors that the work would be announced soon, but according to DuskGolem's news, the release date may be postponed to the end of 2025 or the beginning of 2026. The leaker hinted that the announcement time of Resident Evil 9 will be much later than expected. He mentioned, Resident Evil 9 is postponed to the end of 2025 / early 2026 for release.
