SAIC Passenger Vehicle's September Global Retail Sales and Updates on Various Brands

TapTechNews October 4th news, SAIC Passenger Vehicle announced data on October 2nd. The global retail sales in September was 64,000 units, with a 10.4% monthly increase. The cumulative global retail sales from January to September was 598,000 units, with a 4.4% year-on-year increase.

The sales of Roewe brand increased by 26.76% in September. Among them, the new energy vehicles increased by 7.73% monthly, the new energy D family increased by 12.57% monthly, and the fuel vehicles increased by 39.78% monthly. The sales of MG and RISING Auto brands have not been announced yet. Before this, SAIC Group has already announced that it sold more than 129,000 new energy vehicles in September, with a year-on-year increase of about 38%, and the cumulative sales of new energy vehicles from January to September was 748,000 units, with a year-on-year increase of about 15%.

The overall sales of SAIC-GM-Wuling exceeded 145,000 units in September, with a year-on-year increase of 24.1%. Among them, the monthly sales of new energy vehicles exceeded 80,000 units, with a year-on-year increase of 106%. The cumulative sales of new energy vehicles from January to September crossed the 400,000-unit mark.

The terminal market delivery volume of SAIC Volkswagen's ID. family reached 13,486 units in September. As of September 2024, the cumulative sales of SAIC Volkswagen's ID. family has exceeded 300,000 units since its launch in 2021.
