Metal Gear Δ Snake Eater - Game Updates and Modes

TapTechNews October 4th news, in an interview with the Japanese game media Famitsu, creative producer Yuji Korekado said that the game Metal Gear Δ: Snake Eater manually increased the game difficulty in order to balance the new modern style.

Yuji Korekado said in the interview that the game character model of Metal Gear Δ: Snake Eater was made from scratch to maintain the integrity of the original design and used facial capture technology to enhance expression animations.

TapTechNews quoted the media report that there will be 2 game modes:

Legacy Style: Precisely reproduce the game in 2004, with a fixed perspective overhead view.

New Style: A modern third-person mode that provides a wider field of view.

The difference between these two style modes is that the Legacy Style is basically a fixed perspective overhead view, while the New Style allows players to move while aiming and shooting.

Yuji Korekado said in the interview:

The New Style provides a wider and linear field of view, and you can shoot while moving Snake, which leads to a difficulty level lower than we expected.

However, adjusting the game difficulty for the New Style will cause the traditional style to become too difficult. That's why we decided to separate these two gameplay methods.

Metal Gear Δ: Snake Eater is a remake of the classic stealth tactical action game Metal Gear 3: Snake Eater. The story is set in the Cold War era, and players will play as the protagonist Naked Snake who has not yet become Big Boss to carry out missions to eliminate the traitorous mentor and his special forces.
