Zhiyuan Robot to Hold 2024 New Product Launch on August 18th
TapTechNews August 15th news, the official Bilibili account of Zhiyuan Robot announced this morning that the 2024 annual new product launch of Zhiyuan is scheduled for 10 a.m. on August 18th. The theme of this conference will be 'Zhiyuan Expedition, Commercial Start'. The co-founder of Zhiyuan Robot, 'Zhihuijun' (Peng Zhihui), will also present the new intelligent robot 'Expedition A2' series and disclose the development achievements of Zhiyuan in product technology, application scenarios, industry ecosystem and other aspects in the past year.
Last August 18th, Zhihuijun officially announced the 'Expedition A1' Zhiyuan embodied intelligent robot. For reference, the 'Expedition A1' is 175 cm in height and 121.25 lbs in weight, and has an overall humanoid shape. The robot is claimed to have more than 49 degrees of freedom, the whole machine can bear 176.37 lbs, the maximum load of a single arm is 11.02 lbs, the peak torque of the joint motor is 350 N・m, and it is equipped with water cooling for heat dissipation.
In addition, the robot's legs adopt a reverse joint design, which is claimed to have a larger operating space, and the walking speed can reach 4.35 mph.
In terms of performance, the robot is claimed to have a computing power of 200 TOPS, and is equipped with an RGBD camera, lidar, IMU (TapTechNews note: inertial sensor), microphone array, etc. At the conference site, the 'Expedition A1' walked onto the stage independently.
At the end of 2022, Zhihuijun, who joined Huawei as a 'genius youth', announced his resignation and started his business in Zhiyuan Robot. In January this year, the 'Peking University-Zhiyuan Robot Joint Laboratory' was inaugurated at the Frontier Computing Research Center of Peking University.
