On July 23rd, with the support and cooperation of the public security organs in Xiamen, Fujian Province, Wang XX and other 8 people were arrested. After examination, Wang XX, together with his wife Wu XX (female, 32 years old), registered a ticket agency company and a travel agency, opened an online store on the Internet platform, and solicited the ticket grabbing business at prices ranging from 88 yuan to 238 yuan to make illegal profits. At present, Wang XX and other 8 people have been criminally detained by the public security organs in accordance with the law, and the case is under further work.

Case 2: Solving the case of selling tickets for popular scenic spots under the cover of operating a travel agency

In sorting out the police situation and investigation and visits, the police found that a certain travel company resold the reserved places of popular scenic spots through online stores. Through investigation and evidence collection, on August 16th, with the support and cooperation of the public security organs in Sanhe City, Hebei Province, the criminal gang led by Xu XX (female, 41 years old) and Zhou XX (male, 30 years old) was destroyed. After preliminary examination, this gang, under the cover of a travel agency, created storefronts on multiple Internet platforms to attract tourists, and organized gang members to illegally occupy tickets (reserved places) for popular scenic spots in various ways in batches and sell them for profits. At present, Xu XX and other 12 people have been criminally detained by the public security organs in accordance with the law, and the case is under further work.

The Beijing police said that they adhere to zero tolerance for illegal and criminal acts that damage the image of Beijing city and the tourism order, resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the majority of tourists, and continue to crack down on the illegal occupation and reselling of tickets and other illegal behaviors of scalpers in accordance with the law.
