Live-Action Film <em>Cells at Work</em> New Trailer and Release Date

TapTechNews July 7th news, a new trailer of the live-action film adaptation of the manga Cells at Work was released, and the film is scheduled to be released in Japan on December 13 this year.

The live-action film will unfold the story based on two manga works, Cells at Work and its spin-off Cells at Work BLACK. Mei Nagano and Kento Satoh will respectively play red blood cells and white blood cells, Shinobu Terajima will play the father with unhealthy living habits, and Mana Ashida will play the daughter who values health. The film will describe how cells work in different human body worlds.

According to TapTechNews' inquiry, the original author of Cells at Work is Akane Shimizu, and it has currently spun off related content works such as light novels, TV anime works, and films. The first season of the anime series (Chinese version) was aired on China Central Television's movie channel in February 2021.
