Jaguar Land Rover's 2024 Investor Day Range Rover Pure Electric Update

TapTechNews, June 20th, local time Tuesday, Jaguar Land Rover held its 2024 Investor Day. The company disclosed that the number of customers waiting to buy the Land Rover Range Rover Pure Electric version hasexceeded 38,000, an increase of 137% compared to 16,000 in February.

Jaguar Land Rover added that buyers areeagerly anticipating for the first pure electric model of Land Rover. The related content of the new car has received more than 186 million views on social media channels.

The pure electric Range Rover opened orders last December and was officially called "the quietest and most refined" Range Rover ever. The car will have "transcendent" performance on low-traction surfaces to ensure its all-terrain, all-weather, and all-road conditions capabilities.

At the same time, the pure electric Range Rover is equipped with a new traction control system to improve handling on slippery surfaces. The car also supportswading through water up to 850mm deep, exceeding the wading capacity of GMC's pure electric Hummer (about 812.8mm) and Toyota Land Cruiser (about 698.5mm).

According to the plan, the Land Rover Range Rover electric version is expected to debut at the end of this year.
