Apple recently sent RFI related to OLEDos development. Product specs include a 2.0 to 2.1-inch screen and approx. 1700 PPI, possibly for a budget version. Hopes to launch by the end of 2025. Related to VisionPro and its development.
A double-layer tandem OLEDos micro-display with 15000 nits brightness was showcased by the Semiconductor Energy Laboratory of Japan. It has various features and is suitable for XR headsets.
