First, China Post operates the issuance of Chinese stamps and the production and sales of stamp collections according to the Postal Law of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the Postal Law). Any act of forging or alteringating stamps is illegal.
Second, products such as stamp samples and commemorative sheets made and sold with Chinese stamp patterns on relevant Internet platforms violate laws and regulations such as the Postal Law and the Management Measures for Imitating Stamp Patterns. Hereby, it is especially reminded to the vast consumers that such products cannot be used as postage vouchers.
Third, the rare stamps formed in various historical periods in China have specific background of the times, and they have the characteristics of scarce existence and high value. At present, they are mainly traded through auction. On the Internet platform, for all kinds of so-called rare stamps that appear under the names of rare, scarce, etc., and are sold at extremely low prices, consumers need to be vigilant and carefully distinguish.
Fourth, stamps of other materials such as gold and silver belong to the products of imitating stamps and should obtain the pattern authorization of China Post and the administrative approval of the postal management department. Special material stamps without legal authorization and administrative approval are all forged or altered stamps.
Fifth, China Post will continue to pay close attention to the sales situation of stamps on the Internet platform, and will cooperate with relevant departments to severely crack down on illegal acts of manufacturing and selling forged or altered stamps. At the same time, it is appealed to the operators of Internet platforms to earnestly strengthen the review and supervision of the products sold and business behaviors in the platform.
