Tencent Video Launches on VisionOS with Immersive Features
TapTechNews June 14th news, Tencent Video VisionOS version launched today, providing over 600 high-quality works such as 'Joy Of Life Season 2', 'Three-Body Problem', 'Soul Land', and users can download it by logging into the AppStore of Apple Vision Pro.
TapTechNews learned from the official that relying on the spatial computing characteristics of AppleVisionPro, Tencent Video has built different types of 3D spatial environments for the popular film and television IPs on the platform based on RealityKit and spatial audio technology, bringing consumers a more realistic immersive spatial experience in terms of both vision and hearing.
For example, in the majestic悬空 temple in 'Joy Of Life Season 2', users can not only feel the majestic and solemnity of ancient Chinese architecture through the texture of objects and the research of the setting, but also seem to be on the scene before Emperor Qing was遭遇连环刺杀under the contrast of light and dark and the background sound of the environment; in the Star Dou Forest of 'Soul Land', the thrilling scenes such as the Mandala Snake swooping down from the sky and Tang San's desperate fight make users seem to be really in the mood and artistic conception of these glorious moments.
In addition, the Tencent Video technical team also enhanced the user's auditory experience for the first time through spatial audio technology. Different from traditional stereo, spatial audio will change correspondingly with the movement of the user's line of sight in the auditory channel. In the future, the Tencent Video technical team will also add interactive auditory design.
In e-sports events, the Tencent Video technical team integrated technologies and solutions such as 3D sand table, game character companion viewing, and multi-angle presentation of professional competition data to create the King Sandbox function. In the 2024 KPL Summer Season, players can operate the zooming, rotating and moving of the sand table model below only through gesture interaction.
Tencent Video disclosed that the VisionOS version currently has over 600 long-video resources, and the total video duration is more than 1000 hours, covering multiple content types such as dramas, animations, e-sports, movies, variety shows, and documentaries. In the future, the VisionOS version will continue to update the content.
