Some users have encountered multiple erroneous transactions, and the problem seems to affect most banks in Hungary. Affected users have been deducted multiple times in a short period of time, and although the amounts are small, they accumulate to a significant sum. It is reported that a user was deducted nearly $1,500 (TapTechNews note: currently about 10,914 Chinese yuan) in 74 rapid transactions.

Hungarian news websites say that major banks are currently being flooded with calls for help from users. It is speculated that this malfunction may originate from Apple's side. Hungary's OTP bank said that there has been a large number of unauthorized deductions on the credit cards of customers of several banks, and the cause is currently being analyzed. The official website of Raiffeisen Bank then released a statement stating that Apple is working on resolving the problem.

In the statement, it was written: Due to a technical fault with an external partner, the bank cards of some customers may have been wrongly deducted by the Apple App Store. We have contacted Apple, and the problem is being resolved.

The report also pointed out that some deductions are related to previously cancelled subscriptions, while other deduction amounts are in line with the user's past consumption records. Some users have already successfully frozen their credit cards through the bank to prevent further deductions.
