TapTechNews August 11th news, the World Broadband Association for Cloud Networking (hereinafter referred to as WBBA) has reached an important milestone by achieving a breakthrough of more than 100 members and covering more than 30 countries across five continents.
According to previous reports by TapTechNews, the WBBA was officially established in December 2022 and is the world's first international organization for the development of the cloud and broadband industry, with initial members including China Telecom, Huawei, Nokia, etc.
According to the introduction, the WBBA is mainly responsible for promoting high-level international cooperation and exchanges, strengthening high-standard association organization construction, and carrying out high-quality scientific and technological innovation cooperation. Currently, 7 working groups have been established, as follows:
The Strategy and Evolution Route Working Group: Formulate the next-generation broadband development and evolution route according to the needs of future applications and services
The Scenario and Use Case Working Group: Study the important significance and positive role of investing in broadband development
The Sustainable Development and Policy and Regulation Working Group: Study how to help enterprises reduce risks, improve operational efficiency and increase profits
The Broadband Networking Architecture Working Group: Study the development of cloud-network convergence and how to achieve a more flexible, smarter and more powerful network
The Cloud and Broadband Development Report Working Group: Analyze the comprehensive infrastructure capabilities and application development levels of clouds and broadband in various countries around the world, and provide investment construction and development suggestions for the industrial chain from a global perspective
The Smart Terminal Working Group: Study how to meet the strict requirements such as network bandwidth, delay, jitter and coverage proposed by home broadband services and commercial scenarios
The Artificial Intelligence Working Group: Study how artificial intelligence can improve the efficiency of broadband networks, save costs and maximize profits
