Microsoft Updates DevHome with New Features

TapTechNews May 24th news, Microsoft updated the DevHome application today, released the 0.14 preview version update, mainly integrating the PowerToys module and the AI-based QuickstartPlayground function.

Accessibility features

When changing the zoom scale, the text on the widget should no longer be truncated.

When high contrast appears on the DevHome Introduction page, DevHome should no longer crash.

Add widget dialog now has tooltips.

Adjustments

The utilities in DevHome integrate the HostsFileEditor, RegistryPreview, and EnvironmentVariables editor from PowerToys.

Environments are no longer marked as an experimental feature.

Quickstartplayground is launched as an experimental feature to create development projects in a containerized way using AI.

Hyper-V virtual machines in the environment are currently not available on ARM.

Bug fixes

The links in DevDriveinsights should now work properly.

Deleting a running Hyper-V virtual machine no longer causes a crash.

When updating the environment page, DevHome no longer crashes.

DevHome, with the Chinese name of Developer's Home, was listed on the Microsoft Store last May.
