GNOMEOS Starts Installer Development and Reconstructs Nautilus File Manager

TapTechNews May 20th news, after the GNOMEOS project received funding from the German Sovereign Tech Fund (STF), it has currently started the development work of the installer.

Officials have not disclosed more details of the GNOMEOS installer for now, after all, the project is still in the early stage of development and doesn't even have a git repository.

The installer is planned to be equipped in GNOMEOS, which is a Nightly Linux distribution maintained by the GNOME project and is mainly used to showcase all the latest cutting-edge changes.

Other distributions such as Fedora and Ubuntu can also use this installer for free, but these distributions already have their own solutions.

The GNOME team is currently also reconstructing the file selector and the Nautilus file manager, striving to achieve an adaptive file selector layout.

In addition to reconstructing Nautilus, another developer has also made slight adjustments to the floating bar in the Nautilus file view. This change is very slight, but it reduces the interference. TapTechNews attached a screenshot as follows:
