TapTechNews note: The Bozhong 19-6 gas field is located in the central Bohai Sea area, with an average water depth of about 20 meters. It has proven natural gas geological reserves of more than 200 billion cubic meters and proven oil geological reserves of more than 200 million cubic meters. It is the first large-scale and fully assembled 100-billion-cubic-meter natural gas field in eastern China.

The gas field is developed according to the plan of overall deployment, phased development, and pilot first. The test area and the first-phase development project were put into production in October 2020 and November 2023 respectively. Currently, 6 offshore oil and gas platforms have been built, and the peak daily production of natural gas has reached 2.4 million cubic meters, and the capacity construction has entered a stage of rapid rise.
