Regarding the reason for the suspension, the official said in response to netizens:

During the development of 'Dying Light: The Beast', we found that the scale of the game has exceeded the original scope.

The game duration of 'Dying Light: The Beast' will reach 18 hours and will no longer be released as DLC but as an independent adventure game.

We will fulfill our promise to long-term supporters and provide 'Dying Light: The Beast' for free to existing ultimate edition players, but due to the expansion of the scale, we have decided to stop selling the ultimate edition.
