From a regional perspective, there are many admitted students from the Yangtze River Delta, accounting for 51.9%. This year, there are as many as 12 shortlisted students in Jiangsu Province, and 7 students in Anhui Province. Both Zhejiang Province and Shanghai in the Yangtze River Delta have 4 students each.

In the remaining provinces, there are 6 students admitted in Beijing, 5 in Hubei, 4 in Guangdong, 2 in Henan and Liaoning respectively, and 1 student each in Hebei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Shandong, Sichuan, and Tianjin.

From the perspective of schools, Beijing No. 8 Middle School becomes the middle school with the most selected students this year, with a total of 5 students admitted to the 2024 Gifted Young Class of the University of Science and Technology of China. Hefei No. 1 Middle School, Nanjing Foreign Language School, and Suzhou Middle School each have 3 students admitted.

From the perspective of gender, there are 50 boys and 2 girls in the admission list.
