Under the guidance of the Criminal Police Detachment of the Municipal Bureau, after investigation, on the evening of September 22, our bureau arrested the criminal suspect Wang某某 (male, 25 years old), and found evidence of forging relevant audio and video in his computer, mobile phone and the website for making AI audio; combined with his confession, investigation and evidence collection, and after inspection and identification by the professional institutions at the ministry and provincial levels, it was determined that the online audio and video involved in the report were forged.
It has now been found out that on September 16, Wang某某 used the audio and video materials downloaded from the Internet to fabricate a script of Lu某某's remarks after drinking, first used the AI tool to train and generate the counterfeit audio of Lu某某 (the female voice that appeared was also trained and generated by the AI tool), and then used the video software to composite the audio and video, and released it through the network, resulting in the formation of a large number of rumors spreading. At present, Wang某某 has been legally taken criminal coercive measures, and the case is under further investigation.
According to TapTechNews' inquiry, on September 20, a recording involving Lu Wenqing, the founder of the Three Goats Company, was exposed. The content of this recording involves personal attacks on certain people, self-boasting, and disclosure of the internal situation of the company, including improper relationships with many female anchors, etc. Due to the sensitive and emotional content of the recording, its authenticity is questioned.
