The Charger Daytona offers two versions. The entry-level model is the Charger Daytona R/T, equipped with a sporty suspension and 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, providing steering wheel heating and front seat heating, and the driver's seat offers 8-way power adjustment. The car is equipped with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, the new car is also equipped with a dual-zone automatic air conditioning, a universal garage door opener, a keyless entry system, and a 9-speaker Alpine audio system with a subwoofer.

In terms of safety, the Charger Daytona R/T is equipped with a rich driving assistance system, including automatic emergency braking, active lane keeping, active blind spot monitoring, and traffic sign recognition. In addition, the car is also equipped with automatic high beam lights, fatigue driving detection, rear collision warning, and front and rear side parking assistance systems.

The base R/T model is equipped with the DirectConnection Stage 1 upgrade kit, and the starting price is $59,995 (TapTechNews note: currently about 430,000 yuan, excluding the $1,995 destination fee). This model is equipped with front and rear dual motors, with a maximum power of 503 horsepower and a peak torque of 547 lb-ft. The official claims that the 0-60 miles per hour (0-96 kilometers per hour) acceleration only takes 4.7 seconds, and the top speed is 220 kilometers per hour, and the cruising range of the 100.5 kWh battery pack is 510 kilometers.

The high-performance version, the ScatPack model, is equipped with the DirectConnection Stage 2 upgrade kit, and the starting price is $73,190 (currently about 525,000 yuan). The maximum power of this version is increased to 679 horsepower, and the peak torque reaches 849 lb-ft. Dodge claims that it is the fastest and most powerful muscle car in the world, and the 0-60 miles per hour (0-96 kilometers per hour) acceleration only takes 3.3 seconds. However, the top speed of this car is reduced to 216 kilometers per hour, and the cruising range is drastically reduced to 418 kilometers.

Both models have SRT-level performance. In addition, the ScatPack model is also equipped with various driving modes such as the track, towing, and custom, as well as racing functions such as launch control and drift mode. It is also standard with the TrackPack kit, which includes 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels, a black spoiler, a dual-valve adaptive damping suspension, and a Brembo braking system with red calipers.

It is worth noting that Dodge has equipped the Charger Daytona EV with a new Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system, which can simulate the sound and vibration of a V 8 engine, bringing a more intense driving experience to the driver.

Dodge CEO Matt McAlear said that the new car retains the essence of the Dodge brand in terms of appearance, driving feel, and overall style.

The new car will start production at the Windsor Assembly Plant this summer and is expected to go on sale by the end of 2024. Dodge plans to launch the four-door version in the first half of 2025.
