TapTechNews July 31st news, several weeks after being accused of excessive data scraping, the AI search company Perplexity rolled out a new partnership plan to share advertising revenue with publishing partners.
TapTechNews note: Perplexity's Publisher Program has recruited the first batch of partners, including well-known companies such as Time, Der Spiegel, Fortune, Entrepreneur, The Texas Tribune, and Automattic (WordPress.com is involved, but not Tumblr).
According to this plan, when Perplexity publishes the content of these publishers in response to user queries, the publishers will get a certain share of the advertising revenue.
Publishing partners will also get a one-year free subscription to Perplexity's Enterprise Pro version, access to Perplexity's developer tools, and gain insights through Scalepost.ai.
