Avita Automobile Enters Middle East, Chang'an Automobile's Overseas Expansion Plan
TapTechNews June 20th, Avita Automobile announced today that it has officially entered the Middle East and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Al Saqer Group, one of the largest luxury brand car dealers in the United Arab Emirates.
It is introduced that AlSaqerGroup has a history of more than 40 years and distributes luxury brands such as Rolls-Royce, BMW, and McLaren. Avita Technology stated that AlSaqerGroup will be one of the most important partners for Avita to achieve its global strategic goals, not only helping Avita layout the luxury brand car market in the United Arab Emirates, but also enhancing the brand's influence in the entire Middle East region.
According to the 2024 overseas expansion plan previously announced by Chang'an Automobile, in the Middle East and Africa region, Chang'an Automobile will introduce three new energy brands including Deepal, Avita, and Chang'an Qiyuan this year, and plans to hold a brand launch event. In addition, the company will complete the establishment of the Middle East subsidiary and the construction of the Middle East spare parts central warehouse this year.
In the Southeast Asian region, Chang'an Automobile will build the first base integrating research, production, supply, sales, and transportation, and radiate the global right-hand drive market. At the same time, the layout in the Australian and New Zealand markets will be achieved by the end of this year, and the sales will reach 300,000 units in 2030.
In the second half of this year, Chang'an Automobile will complete the launch of the Avita brand in Thailand, and will launch three models including Avita 11, Chang'an Qiyuan E07, and Lumin in the Thai market, and a total of 6 passenger car products will be launched in 2025.
TapTechNews noticed that Avita has two main models, Avita 11 and Avita 12. In May, 4569 new cars were delivered, an increase of 163% year-on-year. In addition, the appearance of Avita 07 has also been announced, and the specific listing time is still unknown.
