TapTechNews translated part of its official announcement as follows:

We are steadily advancing the console version of the Cities: Skylines 2 game, but some issues have not been properly resolved and cannot meet our expectations, and cannot bring players a sufficiently excellent gaming experience.

We plan to launch a new candidate release version in August and then evaluate whether it meets the release conditions. We will decide on the subsequent release plan based on the results of this evaluation, or maybe more issues need to be addressed.

The Cities: Skylines 2 game was released on October 24, 2023, developed by ColossalOrder and published by Paradox Interactive. It is a city-building game. The game was originally scheduled to be released on Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series S|X consoles in October this year.
