MacOS 15 Sequoia USB Port Connectivity Issues Reported by Users

TapTechNews September 27th news, the tech media AppleInsider published a blog post yesterday (September 26th), reporting that many Mac users who upgraded to the macOS 15 Sequoia system have feedback that they encountered USB port connection problems.

TapTechNews queried the Reddit community and the official Apple support forum. Some users reported that after products such as MacBook Air/Pro upgraded to macOS 15 Sequoia, the system could not recognize hard drives and chargers connected via USB-C, or it would take a long time to recognize them.

In addition, users also feedback that after upgrading the system, Mac devices cannot recognize storage peripherals such as USB flash drives.

The problem has a wide coverage and is not limited to a specific model or chip. M1, M2, and M3 chips seem to be affected. MacBook Air and iMac also encountered this problem after upgrading.
