Sega Announces Release Date for Sonic X Shadow Generations

TapTechNews, June 8th. Sega officially confirmed today at the 2024 Summer Game Festival event that the Sonic X Shadow Generations (SonicXShadowGenerations) game will be released on October 25th and will be available on Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5/4, Switch, and PC platforms.

Sega also confirmed that the PlayStation 5/4 console version of Sonic X Shadow Generations will include an exclusive expanded prologue animation with deleted scenes. TapTechNews attaches the game promotion video as follows:

Players who purchase the digital deluxe version can play this game 3 days in advance and include additional character skins and Shadow levels (to be released in the 2024 holiday season), Terios skin, additional BGM packs, digital art books, digital soundtracks, and skill points for Sonic Generations.

Sonic X Shadow Generations Reboot is an upgraded version of the 2011 game Sonic Generations (SonicGenerations). The new version has been completely remade, upgrading the visual effects and introducing new bonus content.
