'Jilin-1' Wide Format 02B01-06 satellites are the latest generation of coverage satellites independently developed by Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. with its own funds, and they are the first small batch of ultra-wide-format, high-resolution optical remote sensing satellites developed in China.

'Jilin-1' Wide Format 02B series satellites have achieved many key technological breakthroughs in the design and manufacturing stage. Their payload is an off-axis four-mirror optical camera, and they are currently the lightest ultra-wide-format sub-meter-level optical remote sensing satellite in the world, which can provide users with a 150-kilometer-wide format and 0.5-meter resolution high-definition satellite image products, and have the characteristics of being mass-producible, wide-format, high-resolution, high-speed data transmission, and low cost.

TapTechNews learned that the six satellites to be dispatched this time will be launched at an appropriate time in the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in China in the near future. After the successful launch, it will further accelerate the networking process of the 'Jilin-1' satellite constellation and greatly enhance the high-resolution remote sensing information acquisition ability of Chang Guang Satellite, which can provide more abundant remote sensing data and product services for fields such as land and resources census, smart city construction, and agricultural and forestry development.
