At about 2:15 PM on September 22nd, on the escalator from the concourse to the platform of the Great World Station on Line 8, a passenger's portable power bank spontaneously combusted. The station used a fire extinguisher to deal with it and did a good job in guiding safe evacuation. No one was injured. During this period, the help of enthusiastic passengers was also obtained. This incident did not affect the operation of the station.

The official reminder: During the subway travel process, please safely keep the mobile phones, portable power banks and other electronic devices carried with you. Once any abnormal phenomena such as smoking or spontaneous combustion are found, please immediately contact the staff for help.
